Traditional bulletin boards can be a bit dull!
I found a simple way to add a bit of interest and to have board that can have larger size while being lighter…
In my Plateau project, I used a foam board from the home hardware store to create a board for my clients bedroom.
What I love with foam board is that it comes in a large sheet which can easily be cut to size and it’s inexpensive (about 10$).
I used 1 sheet for 3 different projects I had! This can work for you too. You may need a bulletin in your entry way, your dinning room and your home office… Just pick fabric according to each room’s aesthetic.
That’s exactly what I did! I went shopping for fabric! You can always use fabric you already have and that can be a jumping point for the decor of the rest of the room.
Instructions:
- Place fabric on the floor (pattern facing the floor)
- place the foam at the center of the fabric, making sure there is enough fabric to overlap.
- Use tape (I used contractor’s tape) to secure fabric onto foam.. Start with the centers and work your way to the corners
