    Pattern Play

This year, I’ve skipped the expected floral prints and let the real things—a centerpiece of pretty pink peonies—do the talking.

    Preppy Color Palette

A combination of cool springy colors (navy, aqua, robin’s egg blue, and kelly green) allow the hints of warm hues (yellow and pink) to stand out on the table. Using a mostly blue palette creates a calm, laid-back feel.

    Stunning Floral Arrangements

Gather bold pink peonies, craspedia, and assorted greens into tight bunches in low-slung vases. Group five or seven vases (depending on the length of your table) together to form a lush centerpiece no one will be able to take their eyes off of!

    DIY Table Decorations

DIY touches give this Easter table even more personality. To echo the beautiful blooms, I made vase coasters with a felt base and colorful felt balls for the border.

Then to top it all off, I DIYed egg place cards. Although dyeing Easter eggs is fun, real eggs are only good for a few weeks. To get the most out of our DIY, I painted ceramic and papier-mâché eggs so I could use these place cards for years to come.

From the colorful pom poms to painted egg place cards, this brunch is bursting with lively hues. Find out how to make these festive crafts below!

    Pom Pom Border Coaster: What
    You’ll Need

    1. Glue gun
    2. Felt
    3. Pom poms or felt balls

With a pen or marker, trace the outline of your vase onto felt. Add enough space for the border of pom poms. With scissors, cut out the felt.

Using a hot glue gun, adhere the pom poms to the felt. Once dry, place under your vase. Voila, you have a vibrant accent to liven up your table!

Painted Egg Place Cards: What You’ll Need

    1. Paint
    2. Paint brush
    3. Twine
    4. Cardstock tag
    5. Ceramic or papier-mâché eggs

Paint your ceramic or papier-mâché eggs with a color that matches your plates or table decorations. Once dry, wrap each egg with twine. Write your guest’s name on the tag and tie to the twine, then simply set one at each place setting.
