Dear faithful readers,
I need your help! I am challenging myself and challenging you!
I have decided to become of of the 300 women who will voluntarily build four houses for families with low income in Quebec. These houses will be built between May 9 and July 15th. Like all the other builders I will devote a personal work day to a construction site but mainly I have personally pledged to raise a 500$ donation for the construction of the house.
For the third consecutive year, this unique initiative organized by Habitat pour l’Humanité Québec will mobilize women wishing to practice differently and help their community . It contributes to helping Quebec families and promotes the role of women in community initiatives and the construction trades .

The mission of Habitat for Humanity is to mobilize volunteers and communities to build affordable housing and promote ownership as a mean to end the cycle of poverty. Since 2000, builders have completed more then 61 homes across Canada.
This year Habitat for Humanity is building a duplex in the St-Henri district of Montreal and two semi-detached houses in Sherbrooke.
