Happy St-Patrick’s Day!
This morning I dressed my son in green! He was very excited but refused to take a picture!
I’m not Irish but I love the color green and I thought I would share my favorite rooms with the color green. It’s no wonder, according to color psychologist, green represents balance and harmony. Green is also the color of growth, the color of spring, of renewal and rebirth. It renews and restores depleted energy. It is the sanctuary away from the stresses of modern living, restoring us back to a sense of well being. This is why there is so much of this relaxing color on the earth, and why we need to keep it that way.
Today I have gathered a few stylish rooms with touches of green.
This mid-century modern living room is just excellent. Its bold and beautiful.
I want to move right into this kitchen! The Emerald green cabinets mixed with the white backplash and dark counters makes my heart melt.
I love this simple and stylish dining room. Its simple and sleek. Those vintage chairs are to die for and the Hunter green walls made me swoon!
There’s no denying the tropical feel in this lush bedroom. The leafy bedding against the dark background really pops!
This gorgeous Green and white bathroom is a preppy dream! Two mirrors and a double vanity make it easy for a pair of people to prepare for their day. Farmhouse-style fixtures light up the space, while a blue and white throw rug provides a bright contrast to the Kelly Green cabinets and accents.
Stop what you are doing and look at that office! Emerald-green panel-silhouettes and shelf-backs add a pop of color to the home office. Accenting in blush (those chairs) is so now. That green paint is Benjamin Moore bunker hill green. Just delicious!
What can I say? Another Emerald green wall, with Leopard stools and that antique chandelier! WOW.
I going to get a can of Emerald Green paint!
