After the kitchen, the  bathroom is the most important room that can either deter or encourage potential buyers to make an offer.

When it comes to the bathroom, apart from having a decor that is updated, we want to make sure the bathroom is clean and that all personal hygiene products are removed from the view of potential buyers!  It may seem like a lot of work to have to clear the counters all the time but it unconciously allows visitors to be able to visualize their stuff in the home.

Items to keep out of sight:

Personal (Tooth brush, tooth paste, bar of soap)

Medication

Toilet bowl brush

Electrical devices (razor, hair dryer, curling iron)

Outdated magazines

Shower curtains that  are  stained or outdated

Scale

The trick I give to my clients is to put everything that is used daily in a container that can go under the bed or in a closet  when visitors come in for a visit.

Bottom line: the bathroom should feel inviting and relaxing just like a spa!

Bathroom before:

Notice the robes hanging by the sink and all the bottles on the counter.

The towel is too large and too dark for the space, and we notice the scale on the floor as well as personnal products in the shower.

After:

The towel has been replaces for a smaller size, the scale and robes were removed and we picked a couple of beautiful bottles of soap and lotion that belonged to the homeowners.

With a few modifications, the bathroom is inviting!
